Clean comfortable hotel close to station and within walking distance of touristic spots.
Perfect location across the street from the station, and at the start of a long lively shopping street with restaurants and small vendors, which will take you right into the famous deer park. The room was very clean and the hotel very quiet. The breakfast in the restaurant was truly delicious and offered a mix of Western food and flavourful local dishes.
The hotel's onsen doesn't allow people with tattoos. This is not uncommon in Japan though and I didn't mind.

What was the highlight of Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring
Fantastic
The hotel is new and clean and tastefully furnished in Japanese style. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were warm. Everywhere tatami mats and no shoes in the hotel as well as walking around in a provided Japanese pyjama made me feel cosy and homely. The shampoo and body lotion smelled fantastic! Nice onsen as well plus free ice cream and free use of massage chair after the onsen. Really nice place.
The water in the onsen was too hot. After opening the window at night for some fresh air it was noisy outside
